Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko, she is a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru and an artist in mixed martial arts fighting for her country in UFC within the Flyweight Division is in the midst of fighting. Shevchenko is the older sister of her former UFC Flyweight champ and the fellow UFC fighter Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her fight sports career by becoming a Muay Thai boxer. She debuted at the IFMA World Championship Tournament 2003 Shevchenko did well in the competition and was defeated by Suzane Miller at the end of the tournament by an unanimous decision. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 and a medal that was bronze in 2008 as well as an award of gold in the year the year 2011. Antonina was also named IFMA Amateur Muaythai World Champion in the year 2016. Antonia began her professional life in 2003 and won an award at the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships in 2016. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tsidblad Keskikangas, who was a participant at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won the fight via unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko broke her debut professional MMA record in 2002 during the KFK cup in Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision, before she fought Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She left the Phoenix FC 4 promotion in 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko beat Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina used her superior strike abilities for the fight to TKO Nievera in the clinch with knees and body. Following this victory, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters' finale in which she was fought against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi with a split decision fight. She won the initial fight by unanimous decision. Antonina bounced back from losing to beat Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night in this match. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her next 3 fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski, but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. In the past, Antonina fell to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
