Kim Delaney, an American actor best known for her role as Detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue series, for which she was awarded the Emmy Award. Also, she is known for her roles in the drama All My Children Philly CSI: Miami and Army Wives. Delaney was born the only girl from her mom who was a homemaker as well as a high-ranking executive of the United Auto Workers. Delaney spent most of her childhood with 4 brothers. As a child, Delaney fantasized about becoming a court reporter. The first time she began modeling was at the age of 14 and later landed commercial opportunities when she relocated from the south of England to New York. In 1981, she starred as an innocent teenager in the film All My Children. Delaney was a talented young actress who was in her 20s, appeared in numerous TV shows as well as dramas. Personally, her professional one has nt had a happy and successful. She is talented and gorgeous, has struggled with alcoholism before. Her marriages have also ended in failure twice. Her custody was taken away from her son in 2005.
