Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26, 1976, from Falmouth Jamaica. He is one of the wealthiest and well-known Reggae Singers. He sang in Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed to Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album like Father Like Son. This was followed by a number of singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap suited (remix) as well as Sensimelia. These all contributed to Ky-Mani's reputation as a new reggae musician. Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell of Fugees to cover Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant. The song was a huge hit in 1997. Marley was a part of the Midem performance (an international music showcase) and was first performed in Miami. Marley did a performance in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live across 36 countries. Marley was the target of auction warfare. In 1997, he signed with Gee Street/V2 Record where he collaborated with his labelmate P.M. Dawn who recorded the track"Gotta Be Movin"On Up
